You don’t need the perfect photograph

You don’t need a studio-quality or perfectly posed photograph. A selection of everyday phone photos is often more helpful than one “perfect” image.

This is especially true for pets. Send the images you have—even if your pet is moving, looking in different directions or the background is untidy. Several photographs can work together to show:

• The face and eyes clearly
• Distinctive markings and coat texture
• Body shape and pose
• The expression that feels most like them

We select the strongest details from your photographs and develop them into one cohesive Artwork Reference for your approval before drawing begins.

If you have only one photograph—particularly for a memorial portrait—send it and we’ll assess what is possible. If another angle or detail would help, we’ll guide you.

Clear and natural is helpful. Perfect is not required.

Frequently asked questions

How long will my portrait take?

Production time varies depending on the portrait size, number of subjects, complexity and current workload. We’ll confirm the expected timeframe after reviewing your photographs.

If you need your portrait by a particular date, please contact Artexture Studio before purchasing so we can confirm availability.

Do I need one perfect photograph?

No. A selection of natural phone photographs is often more useful than one perfectly posed image, especially for pets.

Different photographs can show the face, eyes, markings, coat texture, body shape and characteristic expression. We use the strongest details to create one cohesive Artwork Reference for your approval.

If only one photograph is available, send it and we’ll assess what is possible.

Can I include more than one subject?

Yes. The A4 portrait includes one subject, the A3 portrait includes up to two subjects, and the A2 portrait includes up to three subjects.

For four or more subjects, unusual requirements or a custom format, please contact Artexture Studio for a private quotation before purchasing.

Is delivery included, and will my portrait be framed?

Australia-wide delivery is included in the price of every A4, A3 and A2 portrait.

All portraits are supplied unframed. Your finished artwork is carefully fixed, protectively packaged and accompanied by care instructions.

For international delivery, please contact Artexture Studio for a private quotation before purchasing.
