The Commission Process
Select your artwork size
Choose your preferred portrait size above and complete secure checkout through Shopify.
Submit your photographs
Email your reference photographs to info@artexturestudio.com quoting your order number.
Studio review
Reference images are reviewed for suitability, composition and overall quality.
Artwork Reference Creation
A digital Artwork Reference is prepared showing the intended composition, subject placement and overall direction of the final artwork.
Artwork Reference Approval
The Artwork Reference is sent to the client for approval. One complimentary revision is included at this stage.
Final Approval
Once approval has been received, the artwork moves into physical production.
Artwork Creation
The final hand-drawn charcoal portrait is created.
Delivery
The completed artwork is carefully packaged and delivered.
Payment
All commissions are paid in full at the time of ordering through Shopify’s secure checkout system. Because every portrait is created specifically for the client and cannot be resold, payments are non-refundable once Artwork Reference Approval has been received and artwork production has commenced.
Artwork Reference Approval
Before physical artwork production begins, each commission includes one complimentary Artwork Reference Approval stage. This allows you to confirm composition, subject placement and overall artwork direction. Once approval has been provided and artwork production has commenced, no further changes can be requested.
